Why did Marta except that she would win the scholarship jacket that year?


Answer:


Marta was hopeful that she would win the scholarship jacket that year as she was fourteen and in the eighth grade. She had been obtaining straight 'As' for eight years in a row at school. Her older sister Rosie had also been awarded the jacket a few years ago . So Marta's dream were soon becoming a reality.
