It's been proven by many first generation success stories that a person of any social-economic background can, with persistence, rise from the lowest of financial circumstances if he or she doesn't lose sight of prosperity as a goal. Yet I've observed much of the population's poor grovel in poverty for most of their lives.
Whose fault is this? It's not really the government's fault in democratic countries, right? Why do some blame the rich for holding the poor down when many successful people provide jobs and give more than required? I often pay new employees phone bills, for instance, to help them on their way.
Why do you think the poor remain poor in countries where basic education is free, college loans are nearly guaranteed and knowledge on the internet freely accessible to anyone with a library card?
It seems that many poor people spent more time in our public education system than some of today's Billionaires like Richard Branson or late inventors like Edison. These are facts. Please answer accordingly by backing up claims with proof.
