According to Bouncer Chronicles, a Rockefeller Wild West-themed bar agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by former women's employees. The women, who previously worked at Johnny Utah's, claimed they were groped by managers and male customers. A settlement, in principle with more than 50 ex-employees in a class action suit, claims management promoted sexual harassment and failed to pay overtime and other fair wages.
The lawsuit was filed last year and also claims that Johnny Utah's bosses insisted female staffers "take off their shirts and kiss each other while riding the mechanical bull." Also in the complaint was female employees were subject to sexual harassment by male customers at the bar. If they complained to management they risked having their hours cut or losing their jobs.
