YouTuber Nikki Tutorials had noticed that some women were reluctant to say that they enjoyed using makeup, and so she decided to make video to demonstrate the “power of makeup.”

To do this Nikki decided to apply makeup to only half of her face to show what the potential difference it can make. Her video has already amassed over 9 million views in less than a month.

She says: “I feel like lately makeup shaming has become a thing. It’s as if putting makeup on to have fun is a shame. Therefore, I thought it would be cool to show you the power of makeup. A transformation. Because makeup… is FUN”
