LAHORE: Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team returned back to home after winning the gold medal in Asian Games 2014 at Incheon in South Korea, The women’s team captain complained that the govetnment had promised them a stadium in 2010 which has not been fulfilled as of yet.

Captain Sana Mir, speaking to media at National Cricket Academy, said that she congratulates the nation for the victory in Asian Games. She said that the matches were not easy due to fear of upsets but the team effort paved the way through.

She also said that no match was taken lightly and the team won the games with team effort. Coach Mohtashim Rasheed said that new players will get chance to play in the national team as the domestic structure of the sport is strong and will bring new talent in the country.
