Work Experience - Lighting Technician

Following on from my last post, I was looking for work experience within the industry. I managed to obtain some through a lighting company. I emailed out of the blue after seeing something on google. Looking into the company I found out more about it, who they've worked for and the sort of things they get up too. I was interested and I felt the email had to be sent, i had a good feeling about it. I was expecting any sort of reply but within a couple weeks they emailed me back and it was looking positive.

The person I was emailing wanted to know whether I was applying for the 12 month placement or the 2 week work experience. I informed them it was the work experience as the placement wouldn't be possible with me at university for one more year, but it is something I'm very intrigued about when I graduate and something I may follow up on.

I managed to obtain the date in June, they are busy so there will be much for me to do. Within one of the last emails I was sent, I was informed on when they will next be contacting me, updating me on the placement and what my job role for the following days would be. Im excited but yet nervous about the experience as I'm unsure what i will be getting up too. Im happy to be apart of it and will update you more about the experience as it happens.
