Vivo now has the world’s thinnest smartphone
Oppo’s reign as the manufacturer with the world’s thinnest smartphone has come to an end around a week after it announced the R5. Vivo’s upcoming X5 Max has been revealed in a TENAA post, bearing a body that’s only slightly thinner, at 4.75mm.
While we don’t have the full spec sheet for the X5 Max, quite a bit is known about the device – there’s a 5.5-inch HD display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras 2GB of RAM and a 1.7GHz octa-core processor. Looking at the specs it seems that the R5 is still a better deal – Vivo’s products aren’t wildly distributed here, but Oppo’s R5 will definitely be coming to the PH.
