NXT Takeover II opens up with Sin Cara and Kalisto challenging the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Titles. We have brand new NXT Champions after an entire year. Kalisto hits his move. Should be interesting to see where we go from here, but the Ascension have been just meandering around for about six months. So they should get the call up and either sink or swim.

Baron Corbin squashes CJ Parker in the next match. This match was what it was.

Enzo Amore won the Hair Versus Hair Match against Sylvester LaFort. LaFort escapes at least for now. The bucket of hair removal cream gets dumped on Marcus Louis.

KENTA is introduced to NXT but here come the Ascension. He turns the tables on them and causes them to flee.

Bull Dempsey crushes Mojo Rawley.

Charlotte retains the NXT Women’s Championship over Bayley. Well I thought that we were going to see a new champion tonight but I guess not. This was a pretty decent little match all things considered.

Adrian Neville kept the NXT Championship over Tyler Breeze, Sami Zayn, and Tyson Kidd. A good main event, and really, Neville should only lose only in a singles match. We’ve got to be building to that Zayn and Neville match that should tear the house down.
