Yemen Back to the Brink, by Ambassador mo,

New protests, crackdowns and violence in Yemen including capital Sana evidence that the Arab Revolution will not fade away without resolution. Estimates are that more than 20 have been killed. Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh still in Saudi Arabia presumably recovering from wounds received in a shelling attack upon his palace is again being called upon to sign an agreement for transition of power. (PHOTO Above - Saleh Addressing Yemeni TV from Saudi Arabia hospital). However, he has apparently agreed to such agreement three times under mediation of GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) only to back away at last moment, frustrating both protesters and negotiators. Will anything change this time around? Yemen’s ongoing and unresolved move toward change reflects upon similar transitions in the Arab world, particularly Syria. No change means no resolution even if the violence ebbs for the moment.
