Many angry, disappointed consumers are complaining about the sale

A few days ago we reported that ZTE was drastically cutting the price of their Grand X2 L smartphone from Php 11,999, to just Php 1,999. Because of the drastic price cut, many people were interested in getting the new smartphone from the branches that the distributor, MSI-ECS said would carry it.

Today we’re getting reports from angry consumers that there were extremely limited amounts of the smartphone for sale. How limited? Some of the comments on our original post said that there was as few as 20 and as many as 150 in some branches and kiosks, which is extremely limited. Some are even reporting that they were told that the units were sold out BEFORE the sale even began – a customer shared his experience on this status stating that he was told that the stocks were sold out at 12:10, when the sale was supposed to begin at 2:00 PM.

Photos have also surfaced just how crazy the sale was and just how many people tried to attend and get their own device. ZTE themselves said that there’d be enough stocks for everyone that would attend the sale – so why are all these people going crazy?
