On Day 16 of "31 Days of Breast Cancer Discovery" Dr. Susan K. Boolbol explains what happens when you find a lump. An ultrasound and sonogram can help you determine if a lump is benign or if it is potentially cancerous. Most solid masses are benign. From there, it will be decided if a biopsy is needed to be performed.
