It’s raining. A middle class family meets round the dining table and tell each other about their day. Everyone has had a disagreable or dramatic experience. But none of these events seems to have left a trace, a mark, anxiety or anguish on any of the five characters. The rain washes everything away, leaving untouched the apparent serenity of the family group.
