The 2011 New York Open Team Judo Tournament : Italian University Team member, Michele Ambrosio (ITA) competes against German Team member Robert Gess of the 81kg in their first match of the first round. This is the first time the two will fight against one another in this competition. Gess is a 7th place finisher in the World Championships in 2007.
