DESCRIPTION

Steve has over 25 years executive experience building organizations and worldwide sales channels for new technologies in emerging markets. He is a serial entrepreneur having been involved in 5 consecutive start-up companies. Most recently he spent 4 years as founder and CEO of a cleantech company, BioFuelBox. BioFuelBox was recognized by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland as one of 25 Technology Pioneers for 2010 which are the companies that they feel have the best chance of making a positive impact on the world.

Prior to BioFuelBox, Steven was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for SonicWALL where he was directly responsible for building a worldwide channel for the company’s security solutions since the product line’s inception in 1998 – when the company had less than 20 employees – and he was instrumental in the company’s growth to over 450 employees. That successful channel and sales organization contributed to near immediate company profitability and aggregate revenues of over $200 million in the first three years and a successful IPO with a $3.5B market cap at its peak. Prior to SonicWALL he was a senior executive in two other technology start-ups, Network TeleSystems (acquired by Efficient Networks/Siemens) and Structured Internetworks.

Steven was the 2009 Distinguished Alumni of the Year for the School of Business at California State University, Chico and is a member of Chico State’s College of Business Advisory Board as well as the Advisory Board for Registria.
