Hi everyone! All of you who have been following my microblogs three to four months ago probably new about me going into a baking course. Baking is a fun activity. And since one of our friends went home to the country last December, we taught her how to bake as well.

Before we headed to our friend’s house, I bought all the ingredients needed aside from eggs because it may get cracked while on the way. I'm a little clumsy sometimes. Hehe.

We taught her how to make a Chiffon Cake with Buttercream Icing. Chiffon Cake is our favorite among the recipes taught in the course. It was a fun night even though the microwave oven malfunctioned several times because of low voltage and even missing out the Christmas show in the town plaza.

There were lots of laughter too while making this cake because it took us very long to decide for the icing color and design. But look at the result, we ended up with no color for the base. One of my friends insisted that there should be a star on top of the Christmas tree and so she shaped a chocolate wrapper into a star. Lol!

Anyway, we had a great time while teaching our friend. I am glad I am able to share to other people what I learned. Best sleepover ever!
