DESCRIPTION

This is an experiment. I was inspired by the Lytro camera technology of shifting focus and thought it would be an interesting way to tell a story. You certainly manipulate the audience by directly telling them where to look. But I think you also allow them to imagine what they don't see. I'm on to something. This isn't perfected yet, but I'm liking it so far and want to explore this method more. I plan to use it in a sequence of my upcoming film "Vasilissa and the Snow Maiden."
