Building Schools in Afghanistan - Baghnazargah School in Herat
DESCRIPTION
Film Annex's production crew in Afghanistan documents an ordinary day at Baghnazargah School, which is 5 kilometers away from Herat. The school was established in 1989. In this video, we get a glimpse into the lives of female students, what they do in classrooms, how they play and exercise outdoors, and what the school's condition is.
In April 2012, Film Annex will start building internet classrooms for 4,000 students. Currently, the number of female teachers at the school is 47, while the number of male teachers is 50. There are 1,700 female and 2,000 male students.
In our next video, we'll show the documentation of how the internet classrooms are being built. Stay tuned.
