A collaborative team of film students have come together to make three short films, each with a different director.

The Burning Ship Project encompasses the production of three short films: GRACE, SEARCH & RESCUE, and OH BABY.

GRACE

Grace is a love story... about a man on the brink of suicide and a woman consumed by her Catholic guilt.

SEARCH & RESCUE

Search & Rescue is a high concept narrative music video that we will be making with an up-and-coming band. It is a story about a scuba diver on a mission that enters an unknown world. As the people of this new world discover the scuba diver, they realize that he is here for a life-altering purpose.

Although this project is set out to be a music video, it is still a story and a good one at that. There are some major visual effects planned for the project, so it will be especially difficult to make with little funds. We will need money for equipment, locations, props, wardrobe, food, and post-production.

OH BABY

Oh Baby is a comedy about a man who is so terrified to speak to a woman that every time he tries to approach her, he causes a major disaster. But he just keeps trying, and digging his own grave, deeper and deeper.

For this film, we need money for equipment, locations, props, wardrobe, food, and post-production.
