Werner Herzog once again allows us to cross the border into something extraordinary: the cave of Chauvet in southern France, the oldest in the world. The film shows us the walls of the cave, allowing us to discover the works of art that adorn them, dating back to 32,000 years ago. The use of 3D technology makes the journey into the depths of the earth and the meeting with an old civilization even more realistic, touching and moving.
