Rare footage shot by a Canadian student during a two-week trip to the People's Republic in China in August 1972 with the first official Canadian trade mission and exposition. Images include various locations around Beijing, the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, and sweeping vistas of the rural interior during a three-day rail journey from the northern capital to Canton and the New Territories.
