Construction of 11th Internet Classroom in Afghanistan at AMINA–E-FEDAWE HIGH SCHOOL
DESCRIPTION
Amina-e-Fedawe High School was established in 1960. In this video, we get a glimpse into the lives of the female students of the school and we see the construction process from beginning to end.
Our production team documented every step, from painting the walls to purchasing curtains, from building the desks from scratch to installing the computers.
Amina-e-Fedawe High School is located in the Eight District of Kabul City. The school has 3 buildings with 150 teachers and 4,750 students.
Craig Newmark, Craigslist Founder, and Francesco Rulli, Film Annex Founder, decided to sponsor Amina-e-Fedawe High School in Kabul, Afghanistan, to support more Afghan girls so they can access the Internet and join a World Wide Web of Educational and Vocational opportunities. In our next video, we'll show the opening ceremony of the Internet classroom and how the students use it. Stay tuned. For more information, visit the Women's Annex Foundation.
