Innovation is key, especially in Afghanistan. Maura O'Neil, USAid Chief Innovation Officer, believes that the United States or other wealthy countries are not the only ones that can have the monopoly on innovation, science and technology. She thinks that great ideas can come from different places and that what we need is to believe in people and help them realize their ideas.
