Donny Deutsch on GMRF and the power of Digital Media and Advertising to support Digital Literacy and Sustainable Philanthropy
DESCRIPTION
Donald "Donny" Deutsch is an American advertising executive and television personality. He is a regular contributor on MSNBC's Morning Joe , with Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, and Mr. Deutsch is the former host of the CNBC talk show "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch". Mr. Deutsch joined his father's advertising firm at a young age. He grew the firm and renamed it to Deutsch, Inc. before he sold the firm to the Interpublic Group of Companies in 2000. Mr Deutsch is a respected contributor and thought leader in the world of modern branding and advertising.
At an charity auction in 2013, Donny Deutsch made a donation to Elisa Montanti's Global Medical Relief Fund , which supports children that have been critically injured from war and natural disasters. Francesco Rulli , Founder and President of Film Annex, made a donation at the same charity auction to get Mr. Donny Deutsch to interview with Fereshteh Forough, who is a Board member of the Women's Annex Foundation . In this interview, Donny talks about the role of digital media, advertising and marketing to empower digital literacy and sustainable philanthropy. Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC, who was the Master of Ceremonies at a 2013 fundraiser for the Global Medical Relief Fund, and Francesco Rulli of Film Annex also make an appearance in this film. It was a very snowy day in New York City when the interview was shot at MSNBC's studios at Rockefeller Center, and we appreciate Donny Deutsch's generous contribution of time and money to advance the efforts of the Global Medical Relief Fund and the Women's Annex Foundation.
