The mark of a truly successful film festival is the creative connection between participants. I was at ECU to give a script-writing workshop, Ellis had come from Minneapolis for the music showcase. Impressed by her charisma, her wise smile, her poetry, I approached her after a set and proposed we make a video clip, an improvisation. It was an instant creative connection. This is the result.
