"From the Ashes", competing for a Youth Excellence Award is a new submission to ÉCU 2012. An experimental film exploring the seven stages of the alchemist’s Great Work, a spiritual journey undertaken in the pursuit of enlightenment and Philosopher’s Stone. In alchemy, transformation of matter and spirit are one and the same, and so the power of the stone enables us to create magic within ourselves and the world around us.
