Two new movies from two first-time feature film directors. First, we have “Breathe” from Andy Serkis. We love him as Gollum and Caesar, but will we like him behind the camera? This one’s based on real-life events starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy.

We also have “Geostorm” from Dean Devlin. The super-producer worked alongside Roland Emmerich in crafting films like “Independence Day” but does he have what it takes to helm a disaster/political thriller multi-genre film? “Geostorm” stars Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, and Andy Garcia.
