DESCRIPTION

Naive and stubbornly determined, Gunnar (Darri Ingolfsson) comes from Iceland to New York City to find his voice, his story and his destiny. He has no social security number, but a dream instead. Gunnar is silently observing the crowd, taking pictures of strangers and flirting with a waitress who has betrayed her dream in order to survive.
Attending English language classes, Gunnar gets soaked in the world of people seduced by the American dream – Chinese construction workers, Latin dancers and Nigerian taxi drivers. «America is not a place for cynics», he's told by his English teacher. Will he ever find a way to pay for the privilege to be a dreamer?
