In the film, Gyllenhaal stars as Brian Taylor, a new officer assigned in South Central L.A. Together with his partner, Mike Zavala (Michael Pena), the duo ventured into the wild streets of LA to serve and protect. Honestly? I’ve never felt this intense watching a movie since “Silence of the Lambs!”
