DESCRIPTION

"Much Better Now" is one of the movies in the Official Selection of ÉCU 2012. The main character is a bookmark, stuck in a forgotten book, in a life marked by standstill in a deserted room. One day wind knocks over the book and blows the bookmark onto the table, separating them. Unfolding hands and feet, the bookmark is swept back into the pages that turn into ocean waves and the two are reunited for a journey. With a surfboard it experiences its environment in a new way - wipe-outs, washouts and nosedives connect the hero to the ocean. The bookmark enjoys the ride of its life. As the book cover closes, the protagonist tries to get back into the book but fails. Light reveals other parts of the room packed with bookshelves and it faces new challenges.

"Much Better Now" est un film de la séléction officielle 2012 à l'ÉCU. Le personnage principal est un marque-page, coincé dans un livre perdu, dont la vie est au point mort dans une pièce déserte. Un jour, le vent renversa le livre et fit s'envoler le marque-page est renvoyé dans les pages du livre, transformées en vagues, les unifiant pour un voyage. Avec une planche de surf, il redécouvre son environnement - éliminations, fiascos et dégringolades, connectent le héros à l'océan. Le marque-page vécut alors la ballade de sa vie. Plus le livre se referme, plus le protagoniste essaye de retourner à l'intérieur du livre, mais échoue. La lumière révèle d'autres parties de la pièce, aménagées de plusieurs bibliothèques, offrant au marque-page de nouvelles possibilités.
