In “Gravity,” the star is poised for another Best Actress Oscar nomination (it’s a tough call between her and Cate Blanchett from “Blue Jasmine”), and perhaps a win! Bullock single-handedly carried the film from start to finish with a little help from George Clooney, of course! She adds gravitas to the movie!

In the movie, Bullock stars as Dr. Ryan Stone, an engineer on her first shuttle mission. But things go awry.
