A News Reel featuring the inauguration of American President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933.It drew approximately 250,000 people to Washington DC. The New Deal was signed into law during this post-Great Depression presidency. The law issued a series of solutions to the failing economy and was based in anti-racist and women's rights ideology. It established the Tennessee Valley Authority which provided jobs, electricity and helped repair poor economic conditions. It was one of the earliest true reform movements in American History.
