A behind the scenes look at Katie Sweeney running the 2010 NYC Marathon. Katie Sweeney is a Board Member of the Women's Annex Foundation, and had open heart surgery when she was two years old at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Running the New York City Marathon was the culmination of years of training when she finally realized that her doctors were wrong. She IS able to compete, run, and train like a "normal" girl.

Katie Bilik Sweeney grew up in Stamford, Connecticut and graduated from Colgate University and Cornell University for graduate school. She lives in New York City with Mike Sweeney of Film Annex Capital Partners and their two sons, Dylan and Dustin.
