It is intriguing that both star and producer (Oscar Isaac) and director (Chris Weitz) navigate between big blockbusters and smaller, thought-provoking films. Isaac, for example, is perhaps best known as Poe Dameron in the “Star Wars” saga while Weitz is known for helming blockbuster films such as “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “American Pie.”

Now, both are giving us the fantastic historical action-thriller “Operation Finale” about the capture of one of the architects of the Holocaust, Adolph Eichmann wonderfully played by Ben Kingsley. I sat down with Isaac and Weitz to learn about their interest in the film and why it matters to this day.
