Jason Sudeikis gives a dramatic performance as Jesse Owens’ coach, Larry Synder. This is a far cry from the actor who starred in “We’re the Millers,” the “Horrible Bosses” movies, and all the other raunchy comedies. In this interview, I asked him why he chose to do the film, and how he got into the character.
