DESCRIPTION

We are remembering one of our Classic games today and it is the Southampton game when Spurs defeated Southampton 4 goals to 2 goals. The first half of the game went not so good for Spurs as the team were trailing 1-0 in first 45 minutes. However, the team responded so spectacularly that Southampton conceded 4 goals in just 5 minutes in the Second Half. A real show of beauty with Sheringham scoring 2 goals and Darren Anderton and Nick Bamby on the score sheet as well.
