2013 has seen a vast number of sci-fi films emerge from Hollywood. Steve and Ben discuss some of Hollywood’s offerings in the genre, including Oblivion, Man Of Steel, Iron Man 3, After Earth, World War Z, Pacific Rim, Elysium, and Star Trek Into Darkness. The guys also discuss the filming FiST Chat episodes off of a smartphone, where to for scientists now after the Higgs-Boson, and a brief discussion of Apple’s latest announcements at WWDC 2013, including iOS 7, OS X Mavericks and the new Mac Pro.
