Even after starting a family and life in Italy, a man from far away continues to be haunted by the wounds of his past. The man left Cambodia twenty-five years ago, after the massacres of Pol Pot’s regime; now, years later, he relives the time he fled his country. The camera follows him on a voyage that proves, once again, returning is fundamentally impossible.
