DESCRIPTION
An animated interpretation of a story told by musicologist and photographer John Cohen (former New Lost City Rambler) about his first meeting with Harry Smith. Harry Smith was the famously eccentric collector, artist and curator of the Anthology of American Folk Music on Folkways Records in 1952. The Anthology directly inspired Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, The New Lost City Ramblers and the entire folk boom of the 1960's.
