I find this video pretty interesting, and that's why I want to share it. If you've never seen a squirrel eating nuts before, now is the time to do so. The beauty shown on this video doesn't seem to be scared at all. In fact, it is enjoying being caught on camera.

Squirrels are quite popular across my country, and even in the capital, where a lot of traffic and pollution is available, they find quiet places to live - in the parks. We have only one species of squirrels in Bulgaria. The squirrel above is a Eurasian red squirrel, also known as Sciurus vulgaris. Even though to see a squirrel is not so uncommon I always enjoy watching those lovely creatures, and especially their white tummies and brush-like tails.

Usually, the squirrels are very careful and run away the moment they notice the presence of humans. So that the only thing one can see is their figure climbing quickly on the first available tree. However, in one particular city park in Sofia, called Borisova gradina, the animals are extremely friendly and even try to steal food sometimes from the hands of the visitors. Well, be careful who you friend with.
