THE CONJURING MOVIE REVIEW
DESCRIPTION
Another week, another scary movie. This one’s a bit different! It’s called “The Conjuring” and it’s not your typical run-of-the-mill horror movie. Directed by James Wan (“Insidious,” “Saw”) and based on actual events, the film tells the tale of two couples – first, we have Patrick Wilson as Ed Warren and Vera Farmiga as his trance medium wife Lorraine. They’re paranormal investigators that are about to get caught in the most terrifying cases of their lives.
Set in 1971 in Harrisville, Rhode Island, the Warrens meet the Perrons. There’s Carolyn (the always wonderful Lili Taylor), and Roger (Ron Livingston). Together with their kids, they just moved to a big but mysterious farmhouse. And then…you guessed it, things go bump in the night!
So is “The Conjuring” worth your time and money? Take a look:
