Afghanistan shares the same experience as Italy after WWII. Many Italian filmmakers started to create films based on what happened during the war. As a person who works in entertainment, I think digital media, and especially videos can be very inspirational for a country like Afghanistan, as it will bring new opportunities for education and entertainment. An example could be Sam French, an American filmmaker who moved to Afghanistan and was inspired to make the Oscar nominated movie "Buzkashi Boy." Afghanistan has the opportunity to follow the steps Italy has taken and get even more benefits.

افغانستان تجربه مشترکی را با ایتالیا بعد از جنگ جهانی دوم تقسیم میکند. بسیاری از فیلمسازان ایتالیایی شروع به ساختن فیلم بر اساس آنچه که در جنگ اتفاق افتاده بود کردند. به عنوان شخصی که در صنعت سرگرمی کار میکند، معتقدم که رسانه های دیجیتالی و به خصوص صنعت ویدئو میتواند برای کشوری مثل افغانستان الهام بخش باشد، طوریکه شانسهای جدیدی مثل تحصیلات و سرگرمی را به ارمغان می آورد. یک مثال واضح میتواند، سام فرنچ، فیلمساز آمریکایی باشد که به افغانستان رفت و توانست با الهام پذیری فیلم پسر بزکشی که کاندید جایزه اسکار هست را خلق کند. افغانستان فرصت این را دارد تا قدم هایی را که ایتالیا برداشته بود دنبال کند تا منفعت های زیادی را به دست آورد.
