What to do with a 3 second film? Inspired by Lotte Reignier's "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" (1926) I set to work on elaborate patterned background scenery with the intention of creating black silhouettes to animate over the top and contrast with the detailed pattern. My time however was limited, so in the end I created a ship to animate across the sea.
