DESCRIPTION

Our favorite Norse god, Thor, returns for his second movie adventure in “The Dark World.” Chris Hemsworth, the thunder from down under, embodies the role again and this time, he must team up with his brother/enemy (can we call it bronemy?), to help save Jane (Oscar winner Natalie Portman also returning for the role) and the world. The big bad is Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) and his Dark Elves, and they’re hell bent on destroying Asgard and the Nine Realms, yup, Earth included! Can Thor save us all?

Not returning for the sequel is original director Kenneth Branagh. In his place is “Game of Thrones” director, Alan Taylor. The script is written by Christopher Yost, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFreely, and Don Payne.
