A girl waiting - A beautiful and haunting girl who waits through the seasons. She is absorbed by clocks

a boy at a bus stop - uneasily waiting - then finds himself surrounded by clocks and finally consumed by them

a fading-in and fading out mystery man with a watch - the mystery man who fades in and out of the lives of the boy and girl. Appearing randomly bu always showing his watch, until he too is consumed by the clocks

a dog - patiently waiting, and anxiously following a trail of crumbs that will take her to her most coveted prize which she expects at the same time every day.

All of these entities are connected by time in some form.
