We all groaned when we heard that Robert Redford for “All is Lost” and Emma Thompson for “Saving Mr. Banks” failed to get Oscar nominations. Not to mention both Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker for “The Butler,” or Michael B. Jordan and Octavia Spencer for “Fruitvale Station.” They gave great performances but in a year full of wonderful portrayals, it’s hard to give all of them nods.

So what are the biggest Oscar snubs in history? Who were the actors who failed to get Academy Award nominations for their certain performances? I compiled, who I think, were robbed of Oscar gold, heck, even just a nomination!
