DESCRIPTION

The first conference of human rights in Central/South Asia and the Middle East was held in Kabul for 6 days. The main issues discussed were kidnapping, rape, forced marriages, suicide, social pressure, bad traditions, and the problems that women face in society.
As part of a debate, some women activists mentioned that violence against women in Afghanistan is increasing while the human rights organization in Afghanistan said that more than 3,000 women from different fields were helped.
