DESCRIPTION

This is a L8 bout of the men's Grand Prix world cup in Warsaw, Poland in 2011. Rares Dumitrescu of Romania is on the right and Alexey Yakimenko of Russia is on the left. These two have fenced five times in the last three seasons: in European Championships in Kiev, Ukraine in 2008 (Yakimenko 15-14), in the Coupe Gerevich-Kovacs-Karpati in Budapest, Hungary in 2009 (Dumitrescu 15-13), in the Glaive D’Asparoukh in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2010 (Yakimenko 15-14), in the Coupe du Monde in Tunis, Tunisia in 2010 (Dumitrescu 15-14), and in the Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain in 2011 (Yakimenko 15-11).
