Watch Me WIP: Lucinda the Unforgiven [Drawing #22]
DESCRIPTION
Hello and welcome to my 22nd Watch Me WIP video! This is another impromptu drawing because there is no internet connection for almost a day now. However, the connection has already returned by the time I upload this. (Hehe.) So to make the most of the day, I decided to draw something and guess what? It is a drawing for the inktober theme again. "Inktober" is a theme for artists on the month of October where their art is mostly made of black ink. Thus, inktober is a portmanteau of "ink" and "october."
For this drawing, I call it “Lucinda the Unforgiven.” Lucinda is an original character of mine and here's a background story of her. She was accused of committing a crime she didn’t do and was punished for eternity. They gave her one of the devil’s symbol, the horns, to let her remember her sin forever.
Tools I used for the drawing are G Pen, Marker Pen and Brush(にじみペン - Nijimi Pen). I used the same brush to make the background and lip color. I just adjusted the size of the brush. This is my first time to use this brush, by the way. I think I will be using it more often from now on because I was amazed of how pretty it looks! (Haha) To easily change the color of the lines from black to grey, I locked the layer where the lines were.
Program used is Clip Studio Paint and drawing medium used is a graphic tablet (Wacom Intuos.) It took me about an hour and a half to finish the art.
Thanks for watching!
