Xcorps host and reporter Scott Sommers interviews shop owner Ed Hanson who is the inventor of the industry known 'X Pipe'. Scott talks with Ed about the advantages of the X pipe over the H pipe. Plus we find out how he came up with the idea of the X pipe high performance exhaust system. Stay Tuned!
Xcorps TV found a great restorations shop in Santee California to base the Bandit X restoration project. So Cal Paint Works has stepped up to take on the project and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The X production crew went down for customer appreciation day at So Cal Paint and saw some of the cars that they had done and we were hooked. Gregg Scott, engine builder, will be doing the 455 for the Phoenix Project.
He has a long history in drag racing and builds engines for some of the top racers at Barona Drag Strip. He builds high horsepower engines that are street driver friendly.
Our friend Dave over at Pro Touring F-body is supplying us with the suspension parts that we need for our Phoenix project aka Bandit X. We are up grading to solid sub frame bushings, tubular upper and lower control arms, sub frame connectors, new coil springs, rear leaf springs along with his adjustable shocks. All this is going to make the car handle way better than it ever did. Well be out tearing up the auto cross like it was a Sunday drive in the country.
