Xcorps MOTORSPORTS SPECIAL Antique Drags 41 HD -
Grab your helmet and strap in tight for this Xcorps SweetRides special presentation featuring wild drag racing and neck snapping custom rides at a gig called the Antique Drags held at the Barona 1/8th mile racetrack in Lakeside California.
This popular bi-annual drag race event at the scenic track east of San Diego features cars of all types 1975 and older from T-Buckets and Rat Rods to nitro-burning mega horse track-thumping dragsters all gunning for the finish line!
The on camera host reporter team of Scott Sommers and Tina Walsh cover the action out at the track in this new Xcorps release. Check out the in your face action shot from multiple cameras set around the track and in the race cars as they punch and burn their way home to a timed finish over in just seconds!
Rolling the pits new Bandit X Girl Tina Walsh checks out a sweet purple 1957 drag Caddy owned by driver Chris Curz. See what he says and check out his fully floored runs down the sticky track!
Mixed with all the action and adding to the horsepower are great new tunes from legendary alternative German rock band Guano Apes!
Representing the event theme the X cams then focus on Bob Lubke's beautifully restored and well juiced 1934 Ford coupe which rips a nice line down the track! Check out the sick follow cam POV shots of this sweet ride!
More non-stop drag action follows with host reporter Scott Sommers talking to '63 Vette owner Woody about details on his classic ride powered by a unique and beefy motor by builder Pete Cogswell. Check out how long Woodys been dragging his ride and what kind of gas he burns along with more great action runs!
A non stop mix of classic, custom and super custom horsepower lines up and rips the track with local San Diego band FANG jamming their song Side Winder!
The burn out smoke clears to reveal one of the real monsters of the day Keith Wilsons fuel altered mid engine dragger called KAOS which idles up to the start with a deafening rumble scaring children and launching with an exploding flanging roar that echos over the hills and sets off cars alarms in the track parking lot!...Nice! The track action wraps with a nice run by Barona Track owner Don Julian coaxing his 71 Chevy Vega to 107mph in the 1/8th mile!
Xcorps loves the sweet smell of nitro methane in the morning!
